ALEX AVAGIMIAN
Alex Avagimian is a Story Artist based in Los Angeles, California. He was born in Sochi, Russia, and moved to the heart of LA at a young age, where his love for storytelling took root. He earned his BFA from CalArts, where he created LITTLE BANDITS, an animated short that went on to become an Academy Award finalist. His career began at Pixar, where he was forged in the flames of story during their Story Internship. Since then, he’s had the opportunity to work with some of the top studios in the industry — including Marvel, DreamWorks, Netflix, Laika, and currently, Sony Pictures Animation.
