ALLISON BROWNMOORE
Allison is a BAFTA-nominated founder of the design studio Past Curfew, specializing in design and animation for film and episodic. She's been on juries for D&AD, BAFTA, and animation/design panels across film festivals internationally.
As a director, Allison has a passion for telling difficult stories exceptionally well. She is particularly drawn to stories that can inspire change, growth, and new understandings within audiences.
She is currently attached as a director with two US-based films, an animated feature and a short animated film with an Academy Award-winning actress. She is also part of Screen Australia's Fresh Cuts program with her short animated doc, In, Out. Her award-winning hand-illustrated animated short film, The Amazing Adventures of Awesome, screened at several Oscar/BAFTA qualifying festivals.
Allison brings a strong sense of identity, purpose, thoughtfulness, and sensitivity to her work. She believes strongly in the visibility and celebration of stories from underrepresented groups and has focused her twenty years in the industry in working on films and episodic which reflect these values.
