BEN CLARKSON
Ben Clarkson is a prolific independent animator, filmmaker and artist based in Montreal. He is the creator of the smash-hit best-selling graphic novel series Justice Warriors which he writes, with X2 Pulitzer prize finalist Matt Bors, for AHOY comics. The most recent volume, Vote Harder, received universal acclaim and was called “truly subversive” by the Jacobin and “the satire we need” by IGN.
His illustrated work has been nominated for a national magazine award and a Juno and has appeared in the Atlantic, the Walrus, and the Globe and Mail.
His animated work has been widely shared online garnering millions of views, toured festivals and been featured by GQ, Variety, Vanity Fair and in Times Square.
His fine art has toured globally and was twice a shortlist finalist for Lumen global art prize in digital art.
He is highly sought after as an animation director, writer and visual artist and is currently working on a new and highly anticipated Justice Warriors graphic novel.
