CLARISSE CHUA
Originally from Singapore, Clarisse is a filmmaker and also works as a story artist at Skydance Animation Studios. Some of her feature work include Apple+'s Luck (2022) , Bad Luck Spot (2023) and Netflix's Spellbound (2024).
She attended Tama Art University in Tokyo and graduated from the Character Animation Program at California Institute of the Arts.
Outside of work, Clarisse is a BAFTA Connect member and writes and directs her own independent films. Her shorts have also won awards and have been presented at film festivals internationally, including but not limited to Chicago International Children’s Film Festival, the Hawai’i International Film Festival, the Animation Block Party in New York, Seoul Indie AniFest and the Bucheon International Animation Film Festival.
