Ever since they were little, Jane knew they were going to be an artist. So when the pandemic cut their senior year at RISD short and forced them inside, it was art they turned to. Drawing and posting daily, they steadily gained a following on social media.
Jane’s love for intricate details often shines in their personal work, such as the wires of a robot or the lace of a dress. Often drawing cute characters with a touch of creepiness, Jane’s illustrations evoke the nostalgia of growing up on the internet watching anime and reading creepy pastas - their illustrations have an unsettling yet familiar quality to them. The same can be said for their comics, which often revolve around yearning, dreams, and strangeness.
Jane currently works in the animation industry as a prop designer. They currently work at Green Street Pictures - their past work includes Scavengers Reign and Jentry Chau vs the Underworld at Titmouse.
