MELODY CISINSKI
I'm a typical 20th century western Parisian girl. From the 80's, Immigrant. From a secular Jewish family decimated in WW2. I grew up in the malaise and confusion of our comfortable modern time.
I lived in Japan on my own when I was 15. I studied 3 years of History of Art in College, then studied to be an animation director at Gobelins. Virtual worlds were my compass. I then studied great literature and history books and masterpiece films of Cinema, which clarified my mind enough to develop interesting stories to tell.
Following this, I had a mixed career as a Storyboarder, Art director, and Comic book Author until I got hired by Brad Bird on Incredibles 2. I stayed at Pixar 8 years as lead story artist and designer, while in my spare time I was publishing comic books in France.
Today I still live in Oakland, and am focused on my personal creative projects, as a comic book author, working towards becoming a director eventually, alternating with storyboarding for Hollywood and international companies.
