NATALIA POTERYAKHIN

I'm a director, storyboard artist, screenwriter, and 2d animator.
(I also copywrite and lead an animation community nonprofit and make YouTube videos. )
I recently directed an animated indie series called Sunny Side Down with MAKE, an animation studio based in Minneapolis. I oversaw an in-house and remote team for 3 years, balancing development with MAKE's commercial commitments (boarding for music videos, writing scripts, animating and more.) I currently freelance with Modular Studio and other clients for both entertainment and branded content. I make animation that's absurd, obviously human, and unafraid to laugh at the end times.
I also serve as President of Nice Moves, a local nonprofit working to build community amongst animators, motion designers, and visual effects artists in Minnesota. I put together monthly meetups, mentorship mixers, speaker events, anijams, and more as part of my not-so-secret mission to help animation flourish here.
