PAULA ASSADOURIAN
Paula Assadourian is a Mexican filmmaker and artist based in the Bay Area. After graduating from CalArts in Character Animation, she has worked for the last ten years as a Story Artist for for companies like Sony Pictures Animation, Dreamworks Tv and Pixar Animation Studios. Her credits include Spider-Man Into The Spider-Verse and Soul, Turning Red and Inside Out 2. She is currently directing a poetic animated short film called Breath, which portrays the expanding and contracting relationship between a woman and her breath. Paula enjoys connecting with animation students in Mexico, where she teaches workshops and spends time with her family; In her free time, Paula enjoys dancing, being in nature and meditating.
